Mick Ronson (May 26, 1946 – April 29, 1993), born within Hull, Yorkshire, was a guitarist, arranger and producer. He is probably better known for his function by owning David Bowie from 1970 to 1974, Bowie's glam rock period. Ronson was the key section of the Ziggy Stardust album, providing string arrangements and various instrumentation likewise when treating a lead guitar duties. He played guitar for Bowie starting by owning The Man Who Sold The World. He besides co-produced Lou Reed's album Transformer with Bowie and played piano on the song "Perfect Day".

Ronson late freed leash solo albums & was an extended-instance collaborator by having Ian Hunter. Besides Bowie & Hunter, he worked as a musician, writer & producer by owning several more acts including Morrissey, The Wildhearts, Elton John, Bob Dylan, John Cougar Mellencamp and Dalbello. He died of liver cancer. His go high profile survive performance was his renowned appearance at The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992.

His previous ever recorded session was as a guest on the 1993 Wildhearts album Earth Vs The Wildhearts, he played the guitar solo on the song My Little one Occurs as Headfuck.

Ronson was the member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but experienced grown disenchanted by owning a faith prior to his dying.
